fostering or guardian program for our goldendoodle breeding dogs

Thank you to the Doyle Family of Qualicum Beach for giving a wonderful home to Jackson Snicker Doodle.

Thank you to the Ife Family of Qualicum Bay for giving a wonderful home to our Darling Cloe Doodle.

As our breeding program grows we may consider adding a few foster  parent families to it.
We consider being chosen as foster parents to one of our pups to be a real honour.  We are entrusting the future generations of our dogs that we hope will help to produce excellent new lines to further promote a healthy and wonderful new breed of family pets.
With your help in raising these incredible puppies, together we can look forward to introducing many families to these wonderful fabulous dogs.  We consider ourselves to be the founding family of these pups and as such we will be here for their lifetime.

THE BENEFITS OF BEING A FOSTER PARENT:

  • You will have the breeder chosen pick of the litter puppy.
  • The dog will live in a loving, safe, fully socialized family environment.
  • During whelping time the foster family can take holidays knowing that their pet is being taken care of by the dogs extended family and pet friends
  • Your home will be this dogs forever home once it has retired from breeding

QUALIFYING TO BE A FOSTER PARENT WILL REQUIRE:

  1. The foster family must own their own home and be interviewed in their home.
  2. Provide a safe and secure fully fenced dog freindly yard, with no open access to swimming pools, ponds or waterfront areas, without owner supervision.
  3. Show proof of enrollment in puppy obedience classes and graduation certificate.
  4. Make sure the puppy is very well socialized with other pets, adults and children.
  5. Provide the dog with a very good qaulity food and well balanced diet approved by both the breeder and the veteriarian.
  6. Cream of the Crop Goldendoodles and Poodles will pay for the complete set of puppy vaccinations for the first year of life.  The foster family will be responsible for all future vaccinations and veteriary care.  We will cover all costs for health testing and for veterinary costs associated with breeding.  It is the foster families' responsiblity to cover all other veterinary costs associated with owning a pet.
  7. The foster family must live within a reasonable distance to the breeder. Preferably in the Qaulicum Beach, Parksville, Nanaimo area so that the breeder has easy access to the dog for breeding purposes.
  8. The breeder holds full breeding rights to this dog and the foster family will NOT be for any reason allowed to breed this dog on their own. This would be grounds for legal action and forfeiture of the dog.  If the dog is bred without our permission, the foster family is liable for damages of $10 000.00.  We recommend that the dog be kennelled during this time, if the family is concerned about this.
  9. The guardian family must contact Cream of the Crop Goldendoodles and Poodles prior to kennelling the fostered dog so that we may ensure that the facility meets our standards of care.
  10. We require that the foster family place a $600.00 deposit on the foster dog. This will be refunded back to the said foster family once the breeding contract has been fulfilled by the breeder and the breeder has spayed/neutered the dog.
  11. If  the foster dog becomes injured to extent that the dog cannot be bred, the foster family is responsible for replacement value of the breeding dog for an amount up to  ________________.
